save luella!

i'm so depressed about what's happening to luella. :/ i love miss bartley, i can't believe her backers are pulling... and this is going to make me seem very uninformed, but can anyone explain to me if they're closing forever or just this ss '09 season?? i've heard rumors she's getting new backers soon... either way, i wish it wasn't happening.

on a lighter note, i finally installed something that counts the number of visitors to my blog, and i have about an average of 30 readers a day. i think that's crazy. (i know 30 won't seem like a lot to some bloggers, but when i think of 30 people reading this, it scares me a little bit...) so if i have any lurkers shy readers that look but don't comment, feel free to write away! i don't bite, promise. <3

...and outfit posts to come, promise!

I don't keep up with fashion/runway news, but Luella was a name that caught my attention quite recently with quite a number of coverage on blogs on it's interesting style, that it's sad to know that it's losing support, even if it's temporary :(

That's fantastic! I'd be happy with 30 readers. :D I really need to install some way of tracking such a thing! I keep meaning to install Google Analytics...

that's so cool (the 30 readers per day thing)! Poor Luella. Luella is really a cute line and i hope it somehow stays afloat.

I was SO sad when I heard about Luella as well. Luckily, I think she's far to popular for the brand to fully fall through. I'm hoping it'll be like the recent situation over at Yohji Yamamoto and she'll get some new investors fast...she certainly can't be gone forever.

Oh man, poor Luella! Her stuff is so whimsical and charming, I'm sure she'll be able to find another backer.

I can't believe it happened either. I've always loved Luella's collections! She's one of my favorite designers! I'm sure she'd find someone though :-) xxoxoxoo

Fingers crossed for Luella! I've broken my Google Analytics tracker changing my blog over and I've got no idea how to fix it... but it is a nice feeling, knowing how many people care, isn't it?
